Hello, BEAUTIES!

I’m back today after several months of a hiatus with a NEW Sewing with Rosy video! #sewingwithrosy The truth is these videos don’t get much engagement, but I do LOVE filming, editing, and posting them. I feel like there is so much value in the sew-along tutorial videos, especially for beginner sewists. When I first started on my sewing adventure I learned mostly from observing others online and trying it out at home for myself.

If you’re wondering where I’ve been, the short story is that several years past, I started school to become a Registered Nurse. Life happened, then I went down a different path for a bit. But things have a funny way of returning to you if you can’t let them out of your heart or mind. Don’t be surprised if my channel becomes somewhat more Lifestyle based and includes more details and insights into my Nursing adventures! (I hope you don’t mind) ❤️ It’s a dream I’ve had for so long, and I’m finally now putting effort into making it happen! I can’t imagine a better or more fulfilling career for myself than being able to care for others in their most difficult times. I personally know what it’s like to not have someone there for you when you need them the most, and I’d love to be there for others who might be feeling the same.

With all that said, sewing will always be a huge part of me and what I love to do, and I will never stop talking or posting about my sewing creations! I repeat RosyPena.com will always be a sewing based platform! Woohoo! 🎉 But as life is moving forward, I hope you’ll follow along on this new journey of school, hospitals, and everything in between! SEWING: The sewing process on this one is a little different than the norm, but still simple nonetheless! I show you every step on how to make this super cute top HERE! 🤗

CONCLUSION: I love this top and all its possibilities, you can play around with the side panels and do some color blocking, or even use different fabric textures. SO fun and easy! ❤️
