Hello BEAUTIES! It’s Friday! 🙂 Yay! Today I have a quick video on my October Sewing Plans! I debated whether or not film this mainly because I do not ever plan out my makes! I figured this would be a good way to hold me accountable to projects I picked and this type of video seems to be the most requested when it comes to sewing vlogs SO I planned a few items out! My mind changes quickly so I can tell you now I’ve swayed from one of these pattern choices already! I felt after filming that the fabric would work best with another pattern! That will be on the blog Monday! 🙂 I do however plan to stick to the rest of the projects and hopefully they turn out well! Video below along with links to items I mentioned in the video!

P.S. – My daughter makes a quick “appearance” in the video. I had no idea she was standing in frame! Let me know if you spot her! Lol. Have a great weekend everyone! Stay positive! Happy Sewing! XO

I would suggest the small Prince of Wales type check for the lightweight coat. I think you will find it would work well with so many other pieces in your wardrobe, dresses, skirts, trousers. Very versatile in that colour and pattern.
Your sewoverit pushy bow blouse is one of the prettiest I’ve seen, the fabric makes it sing, beautiful.
Videos as well please, your a joy to watch.
Awe Janet! You definitely put a smile on my face with your sweet comment! I appreciate your suggestion as well! I did go with lightweight coat and I’m in LOVE with the way it turned out. I’m glad I went that route and you are so right it will go with many other pieces as well! 🙂 I do plan on filming a sewing make video! XO
You made me smile when I read your response, thank you for your kind words, I cannot wait to see the finished garment. It is the Scots/Irish love for plaids (tartans I would generally call plaids) and those lovely Prince of Wales type check fabrics that do lend themselves more to certain types of garments. A long slim fitted straight skirt being another, chic but with an elegant sex appeal!
Hi Rosy, Vogue 9209 skirt is absolutely beautiful!!!1 I made the skirt last month and it came out beautiful. Very quick skirt to make, you’ll love it!!
Good to hear! I didn’t end up making the skirt this month, I went with the vogue jacket pattern! I will have to sew the skirt soon though! 🙂 Thank you for the comment! XO
