Hello BEAUTIES! Happy Friday as always I hope you are well, it’s been quite a month hasn’t it? December is such a busy time figuring out what gifts to buy/make etc.! It will all be worth it during the Holiday! I’ve been able to get a few pieces sewn up, including my Little Red Dress Project you can expect to see it on the 20th! 😉
As for today I have a short and sweet review on the Named Patterns Talvikki Sweater, I picked this up during a quick pattern sale earlier last week and immediately pulled out this gorgeous Floral Scuba Knit to pair with it! I love how the fabric holds the structure of the neck darts and the overall shape that it gives to the garment! I kept asking everyone to pinch/feel the sweater, it’s so unique! There are several other color options available if the floral scuba isn’t your thing, here, here, here. Pattern Review and photos below! 🙂 Have a FABULOUS weekend and I’ll talk to you soon! XO

Pattern Description: Talvikki Sweater “Oversized and cuddly sweater” by Named Patterns
Pattern Sizing: US 0/2 – 16/18, I cut size 0/2.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Yes!
Were the instructions easy to follow? This is a simple garment to put together and the instructions are great and easy for beginners to follow.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? This is another one that I shy’d away from at first glance but after seeing a few made up I had to try out the patterns. The neck darts are so unique and I like the simplicity of the pattern yet sophistication/structure that the neck darts give.
Fabric Used: Floral Scuba Knit from Fabric.com.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: None.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? I will, the pattern sews up quickly and it’s a simple piece to throw on. I will make this again in neutral colors and add it to my capsule wardrobe.
