EVA wanted to be here! When I tell you, this pattern created itself. I went from not designing patterns for several years to having a burst of energy to create EVA. It was the strangest thing. I am so grateful for it because Eva helped me re-spark my passion for sewing. She’s simple, I know. But who says you should sew complicated patterns that you won’t even wear half the time? 🤔

PATTERN: The EVA Top/Dress by Rosy Peña Patterns

SIZING: XXS – XXL. I blended sizes between medium at the bust and large at the hip. I show you how in this video tutorial HERE.

FABRIC: Magenta Purple Bamboo Solid Stretch Jersey Knit Fabric

ALTERATIONS: I graded between sizes from bust to hip and made a sway-back adjustment by following instructions in the Palmer Pletsch fitting alterations book HERE.

CONCLUSION: I am BIASED, she is simple, timeless, and chic! I see myself reaching for this pattern whenever I have a gorgeous knit fabric I want to show off!!! 😍
