Black & White Jumpsuit + Pattern Details -

Hello BEAUTIES! Happy Monday! I hope everyone is having a good start to the week! As promised I’m back with another “Pattern Mix” post! In case you missed last weeks romper, here it is. That romper had SO much positive feedback! 🙂 THIS jumpsuit is also Pinterest inspired & I’m seriously in LOVE. 🙂 The comfort, ease of sewing and overall style of this look is amazing!

Pattern Combination:

For the top I used Mccall’s 7158. I made sure to add width to accommodate for being pulled over my body. Whatever the widest part of your body is make sure the finished top measurements will allow to go over that. For me the widest part is my hips 36″, I made sure my pattern at least equaled that plus about 4″.
For the pants, this was actually a mystery pattern to me I traced it out a while ago and never wrote the pattern on it. All you need though is a wide leg pattern that fits you, I added width to equal to my top measurements, you may need to take away. Make sure the top and pant match up width wise so they’ll fit when you sew them together. Also make sure you add enough to the very top of the pants for when we attach the elastic.
Sew the top and pant as normal separately than attach at the waist, I used a 5/8″ seam allowance then inserted 3/8″ elastic. All done! 🙂
