Hello Beauties! Happy Monday, Hope the weekend was fun for you all! Today’s post is short, sweet and simple 🙂 I whipped up this top using a McCall’s Pattern with a few simple modifications. I chose a stable quilted knit from Joann’s fabric and was happy with how the piece came out! It looked a bit “fancy” in my opinion especially for such a quick easy pattern with not very many design features. So that’s a plus! The yellow clutch is a DIY with fabric I picked up from Joann’s as well (red tag remnants section, theres some gems here sometimes)! I used a metal jacket zipper and heavy interfacing to keep the structure. Pattern Review & modifications below! Have a great Monday you all! XOXO

Pattern Description: Misses Loose-Fitting, pullover tops –Â McCall’s 6751
Pattern Sizing: Xsm-Med, I cut the Xsm.
Did it look like the photo/drawing on the pattern envelope once you were done sewing with it? Similar, I made a few quick modifications.
Were the instructions easy to follow? Yes.
What did you particularly like or dislike about the pattern? I love how casual and simple the pattern is. It’s a good staple pattern to help build your wardrobe. Worn under a nice blazer would be really cute in colder weather!
Fabric Used: Quilted Poly-Spandex Knit from Joann’s Fabrics.
Pattern alterations or any design changes you made: I added 4 inchesÂť to the length of the front and back of view D, and a center front seam.
Would you sew it again? Would you recommend it to others? Yes probably in another neutral color, It’s a fun quick pattern to sew up, I would recommend.
Conclusion: If you want something easy, quick and cute you’d like the pattern it doesn’t require much fabric so you can even use up some leftovers from another project.
