Hi BEAUTIES! A sewing room tour video was requested on my INSTAGRAM! SO of course I had to film and post it for you all. 🙂 It’s a vlog style video in the sense that I’m holding the camera and going into drawers, so heads up in case you’re prone to motion sickness. It took a while for me to get this space together and it’s definitely not perfect, but it’s my absolute HAPPY PLACE! 🙂 Items mentioned in the video are linked in the blog post below. Enjoy and I’ll be back soon with an outfit post! Talk soon! XO

What is a sloper?
Hi Edna, A sloper is a pattern piece with no seam allowance that is a very close replica of your body, using your own measurements. It’s a base used in designing garment patterns.
Did you make your top?? It looks like a new Mccalls pattern! So cute! Love your room setup too! 🙂
Hey Steph! Yes I made the top in the video, It’s McCall’s 7606. XO
Thank you for inviting us into your sewing room. I enjoyed the tour and got some good ideas for organizing my stuff, which is starting to get a bit out of control. Mostly what I took from your video was the sense that you have a real love for all things sewing which is very inspiring to me. I like watching all of your videos but I think I most enjoy watching your fabric hauls and then finding out what you will make with the fabric. Best, Jody
You’re so welcome, I love filming fabric hauls! I should definitely make another soon. I’m so happy you’re inspired by the tour video! I do really enjoy sewing and the sewing community is such a great place to be. Thank you Jody! XO
Hi rosy!
Love your sewing room! May I ask where you printed your giant inch from?
Hi Susan! Thanks a bunch, I actually got mine from a sewing conference but I found a link to the same inch, hope it helps! XO http://nickcornwell.weebly.com/how-to-read-a-ruler.html
Oh Jerilynn, you’re so welcome! I’m really glad you enjoyed the organization and also very happy you took away some ideas! 🙂 I’m thrilled to share this space with you all. Happy sewing! XO
Hi Rosy, just finished the tour of your workroom and I’m so impressed with your organization of your sewing supplies etc. I enjoyed seeing your sewing space and got some helpful ideas too, thanks!
It’s always fun to see how other sewists organize their space and put together a functional area.
I look forward to more of your creative outfits and posts, thanks for sharing your “Happy Place” with all of us.
Blessings,
JL
